Building with shapes: Illustrator Tutorial

Final outcome 

This tutorial introduced me to the shape builder, before I was mainly using pathfinder. I think doing these tutorials has been so useful to seeing good workflows. When I have googled things trying to troubleshoot before you just fix a small segment, but I'm being introduced to more tricks doing this. Such as when selecting two anchor points and holding down the s key you can move points equal distances which is super useful. I also found creating the arc highlight at the top was something new, I didn't know about, then 'expanding appearance' to make it an editable shape.
