Sweet Nothings Illustration

This illustration was based on the phrase 'Sweet Nothings'. I like the theme of communication between people at the moment, and the struggles there are with unmatched feelings.

I don't draw or 'represent' people usually, and I love working with shapes, so this was an abstract way of me representing the two people. I experimented with blend modes for this and found it very useful.  Particularly at the end changing the background colour and producing some more interesting colour palettes than I was originally working with.
